This weeks Challenge is using blue,. So I made a drawer easel card. I had great fun. I used Stampin Up Spice cake papers and card from my stash. The image is Penpal by Sugar Nellie.The frame around the image is a Nellies Choice frame. Flowers from Wild Orchid. Butterfly Stampin Up embossing die.

I have used a flower shaped card for my base and a set of Freebie stamps from the Homemade Magazine. A pretty set of stamps they are too. Card candy around the petals from Craftwork Cards. I 3'D the cake and bunting and added glossy Accents.

Secretcrafters Saturday Challenge 166. Anything Goes.

this challenge lasts for 2 weeks. I have made these little table boxes for the Home where my dad lives. The staff will add a few sweets to them On Christmas day. I have used the mini milk carton die from Stampin Up, available to order from me, The holly leaf is from a Sizzix long die and the bird is a Stampin Up punch. I had to make 32 of them and enjoyed every minute. I love making boxes and things.

This is one of the cards I made at Clair's all day Christmas card workshop.
We had all the kits to make up 10 cards with matching tags. I actually only finished 4 cards!!!!! lol. Still, I have been able to finish off another 4 this week.
Here is the first one.
Noel, Sizzix long die, Sizzix matching stamp and embossing folder. Stampin Up Old Olive ink pad.

I loved this one so much I went online on Sunday and ordered the die and stampa dnfolder set, to make more of these. Love it. Hope you do too.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge 164. All Creatures Great and small including Aliens.

Hi Everyone, It is my turn this week to set the challenge. I did intent to do an outer space card but I have had extra childminding duties this week. So didnt get to make my card until yesterday afternoon. My granddaughter Megan has tonsillitis so I have been looking after Finn so mum could look after Megan properly. She had a temperature of 103.8....Today she is feeling much better. We were so worried yesterday about her. Anyway back to my card. I used a really old Penny Black stamp.....Most of my Penny Blacks are a good few years old. lol. Papers are from a pad of First Edition papers called Spring Feast. I used my Stampin Up punches.
Coloured with copics.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge 163. Photo Inspiration.

This weeks challenge is a photograph of a Christmas Tree. So what could I come up with this week. Well I made a Tree Decoration. First I cut myself a large tree shape triangle. The I got my Martha Stewart Fern punch and using an old pack of Hot Off The Press Christmas papers, I punches loads and loads of fern. I got in a right old mess with the glue but Im happy with how it turned out. I hope you like it too.

I have used a Lily of the Valley die cut that has been sitting on my desk for a while.
I have teamed it up with papers from a 6 x 6 pack from First Edition, called Daydream. there are some lovely glittery papers in this pad.

Good morning everyone. This week we have to make something using Flowers, Ribbon and Lace. I used this theme to make a card for the order I had a couple of weeks ago. So 2 birds with one stone comes to mind.
I used Stampin Up paper and the flower stamps are from a Hero Arts Set, stamped onto the SU paper. The dies is a Marianne Desings die and the lace from Cuddlybuddly.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge Spooky or Whimsical

For my card this week I chose my favourite size, 8x 8 inches and the theme whimsical.
I used my Lavinia Stamps to make a scene. I love making pictures with stamps.
I stamped with black Memento ink and then used distress inks, Shabby Shutters,Peeled paint and faded jeans.
A Marianne die for the corners and ribbon from my stash.
I have an order to make 4 x 30th Birthday cards, so I have added the rosette (Tim Holtz die) the 30 is cut with Sizzlet dies from Stampin Up.
I hope my customer likes this one, as its so dark.

Todays Challenge is Keeping Warm,

My lovely Skating snowman, was a freebie from Just Inklined. Coloured with Copics.
I knitted the little scarf in no time at all! I wish all my knitting was that quick.
Backing paper is a download from SEI I love there papers and have a few of their downloads.
Sentiment is SU Contempo Christmas, my favourite sentiment for this Christmas.
The snowballs are out of my Chalks tin, I will need to use something else for my chalks now, well there is always cotton buds.....

I have a customer who buys his mum a cat card every month, so Im always having to come up with new images. love this image as its so easy to colour, with a little light grey copic pen and a smudge of colour in his ears.

Hi Everyone, today is my second go at designing for the SCSC. I decided on a Christmas card, using Penny Blacks stamp Fantasy. I love this stamp.
The Blue card used is Stampin Ups Bashful Blue. Available to buy from me! :) a Little advertising never hurt anyone..... ;)
I stamped with a Brilliance ink pad, Galaxy Gold and then used Stampendous Jeweled Gold embossing powder. Then I used my quicky glue pen and Glamour Dust to add extra sparkle.
The gold mirror card and ribbon is from my stash.
Sentiment is Stampin Up Contempo Christmas.

Hi everyone, Im so pleased to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed making my first Project on the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge, as a Design Team Member. Thank you Wendy and Jane for choosing me.

I have made my boxes from 12x12 card, just guessing the dimensions I needed.
The Coffin and Skeleton Ghoulie are from Bugaloo. Coloured with copics.
The bat I cut out of card myself.
The Scrabble tiles, were a free download.
Papers are a free download.
I used Spray and Shine over the whole thing to give them a shiney look.

Our grandson Finn was 3 on Saturday and he is well into Peter Pan. So he had a pirate party.
I cut out 20 pirate hats on my Pazzles machine, his mum made the Pirate ship cake.
Megan who is 6, was showing off her hat. :)

This one is from Barbara at Bits of Ivory.
I took the image into Paintshop Pro and applied a check pattern to his trousers then printed out and coloured the rest with my copics. Very easy to colour as its mostly white! :)

Here is my card for this weeks LIM. I got it right first time this week, lol. Although it is a little wonky.
Ive used a butterfly background image that Ive had for donkeys years and not used it. This background stamp is from Tanda Stamps
The Cutout butterflies are an Embosslit from SU. I love this die. You can order it from me too if you are interested. :)

Less is More one layer.

Over at Less is More this week is a one layer challenge with embossing somewhere on the card.I have struggled with this challenge and have thrown umpteen cards into the bin. I tried all kinds of stamps but ended up with my favourite Stampin Up set, Just Believe, for the main image and the sentiment. I used a rectangle scallop Nestie for my embossing and got to use my stampamajig for placing the stamps in the right place.

Want to Become a Stampin Up Demonstrator?

Now is a good time to become a Stampin Up Demonstrator. For a start up fee of £119, you get £240 worth of Stampin Up goodies. You can change the Stamp sets for what stamp sets you would like out of the Main and Mini Catalogues as long as the value is the same or less. Change the colours of ink pads and card too.
You dont even have to have Workshops if you dont want too. Just buy for yourself or get a few friends to order from you. Stampin Up works on a quarterly basis. If you join now, you will have until September to reach your target of £250 worth of orders per quarter to stay as a Demonstator. Thats an extra 2 months!

We are having a Baby Shower this evening for my DIL who is expecting a baby girl in 4 weeks time. So I made a Nappy Cake (fairly basic ) and some pillow boxes, cut on my Pazzles Machine, which are filled with jelly babies. (My daughter only gave me 48 hours notice)

Today we have a new image and a set of papers,available in loads of pretty colours at Cuddlybuddly by the famous Illistrator Czes Pachela. He is the creator of Toby Tumble and friends.
I made my card using an 8 x 8 inch blank and increased the size of the digi image.
I chose the 2 brown shades to make a vintage sort of card.

This one I coloured with my Distress Inks. Its a first for me. I used a Blender pen from Stampin Up, to pick up the colour and colour in. So easy.
I love the colours as Im a bright colour person, lol. You might have noticed before.lol. Linda x

Todays card is the latest Digi Download from Cuddlybuddly and is that cute furry little Bunny, Toby Tumble. I had difficulty with choosing a backing paper on this one so used a sheet from a K & co pad.which is now hidden under a mountain of stuff, somewhere. So I cant tell you the name of it. lol.

Its a lovely day here today and I have been out with my daughter and the children she childminds, to soft play and outside play park. I think I will put my feet up for a couple of hours now. Its so tiring watching them jump about. lol.

Megans Book

I have been making a book for Megans sixth Birthday on Monday, using Lilyboo Digi stamps This is just the front cover. I wont show you the inside as Ive written a story and my handwriting isn.t all it should be. :) Each year I try to out do the card I made the year before, so this year had to be a book. Anyway the story has all the members of her family in it and its about a friendly dragon who becomes there pet.

I think this must be my all time favourite stamp set from SU and its a free set! Can't be bad.....

Today I have four cards to show you that I have made as a Design Team Member for Cuddlybuddly to showcase Eline's downloads now available in the CB shop.Here The two pink cards are made from the ready coloured design sheets and the blue ones made from digi stamps. Papers are also Elines.

Have you seen all the Easter Eggs in the shops? On Christmas Eve I saw a stack of Cadburys Mini Eggs in my Local Co-op Supermarket and the array of other eggs has grown since then.

When I first saw these over on www.funkykits.co.uk I really didn't think I liked them, until I saw what other crafters were doing with them. Then I fell in love,.
The first one is Grace Standing. Coloured with Copics. The shading is done for you so very easy to follow for those of us not so good with the shading.
the second one is Joy Sitting. Again coloured with Copics.
