Just about Finished

I have been decorating the lounge for the last couple of weeks. It takes a while as my OH is always in the room! :)( He is disabled with Multiple Sclerosis) Im just adding the finishing touches. Today I covered my old footstool with Laura Ashley Lloyd fabric, which matches the wallpaper.

Baby Card

I had to make a New Baby Girl card this week for my step grandaughter who had her second daughter this week. Megan age 3 is an auntie again! :lol: Shelley my daughter is a step nanny again:lol: at the age of 29 on Tuesday.
The Circle and scalloped circle were cut on my Cricut, using Accent Essentials. The baby is a Precious Moments sticker by Sandylion. Ribbon from Poppicrafts.

Birthday Book

My daughter Shelley has her 29th Birthday next week. So I have been slaving away the last 2 evenings making something special for her. I cut the letters by hand after using a template to draw them out. Im really pleased with it although it may be a bit dark! :lol: When I showed hubby, he said I had put a lot of work into it but he didnt like it, " Not my thing" he said...... I know Shelley will love it and I do too. Thats all that counts.

Todays Cards

I received my Promarkers yesterday that I ordered from Secret Crafter. So last night I coloured in 2 images. This morning between jobs I made them into cards.

Managed to finish a card at last!

I actually finished 3 last night. I was just waiting to add the sentiments but didn't know what font to use. Thank you Sonia for your help in that department. :lol:
The first one is a rubber stamp from Cuddly Buddly called Meggie. This is my granddaughter that Kim has used photos of, to model this stamp. You will also find Meggie Baking in the Cuddly Buddly Shop. Im so proud to have my granddaughter in rubber! :lol:

The Second card is a rubber stamp again from CB called Dana.


The last one is a Sugar Nellie stamp called Pen Pal.

Wedding Stationary

I have almost finished the Wedding Stationary that I'm making for the girl I work with. We sat together and worked on a few layouts and came up with this very simple one. The Bridesmaids are wearing blue dresses so that is the colour scheme we used.All the invites have gone out. The Menu's are done too. Im now working on the Order of Service and hope to get them finished sometime this week.

Baby Shower

I'm sorry I havn't posted for a few days. I have been busy with Baby Showers and Wedding Stationary! We had a great time at the Baby Shower held for my daughter Shelley. After opening presents and eating and drinking we had a few games. We played Pin the baby in the Womb! :) Anagrams of words to do with babies and guess the weight of the baby. We also had to guess the diameter of Shelleys waist.

Baby Shower

My daughters friends from work have organised a Baby Shower for her. My contribution is a Nappy Cake. This is the first one I have ever made so I have only made a very small one. It looks top heavy with the bears on top! :lol: I'm Sure Shelley will like it just the same.
Shelley wanted Gift bags for the ladies attending so I have been roped into making them too. Printable downloads for the bags and tissure box covers are from Cuddlybuddly. She has covered KitKats with her own design wrapper and covered cheap notebooks all the same. The check paper is from K & Co. baby boy pad.

First High Hopes Card

I made this card last night from the High Hopes stamp I bought at The Glitterpot. I'm afraid its not a very good picture the colours are so much better in real life. I will edit this post with a new photo if the sun comes out later! I have decoupaged her face, teddy and shoes. I am really pleased with this one.

The Glitterpot Forum Meetup

Yesterday I went to The Glitterpot to meet forum members from CuddlyBuddly and of course to buy some stash! We had a great time. We had lunch afterwards at The Farmers pub then adjourned to Georges House for afternoon tea. It was wonderful to meet forum friends again. I Can't wait for the next meet up.
