Triple Shadow Box Frame

Hello everyone. Todays offering is a shadow Box Frame. Cut on Cleo Cameo, from a file I purchased from The Silhouette store. the designer is Lori Whitlock. I Love her ideas.
There are 13 pieces to this frame. I stamped the front of the frame with a stamp from Stampin Up, it is a very large Script stamp. I was covered in glue by the end of putting it together! I've used the Saucy Postcard toppers from Kraftyhands, cut down to fit my apertures, backed with Kraft card from Anna Marie Designs.
The flowers are Heartfelt Creations, stamped on Kraft card and cut out using the matching die.
The leaves are a ferm punch that I bought from Ally Pally.

It was a lovely project to make and only took a couple of hours.

I hope you like it. Have a good weekend.

Kraftyhands What a Hoot! CD

Today I have my contributions to the Design Teams pre-order CD samples for WHAT A HOOT!
First I cut a box on my Cameo and decorated with an Owl pyramid set.

I then made 6 basic cards and 6 matching envelopes, using the Envelope Board from Stampin Up.

To follow, I had a lot of bits and bobs left over, of printed sentiments and toppers. so I cut a file box on my Cameo. I love this little box.

Well that's it for today. I still have more to show, once I've put the printed sheets together. I just need some inspiration!
See you soon and thanks for looking.

Kraftyhands Create it! 1 Magazine cards

Today I have 4 cards to show you, using the NEW Create it! magazine. Produced by Kraftyhands.

You will find 10 easy print and cut digital kits to make up some beautiful cards for all ages and genders.
For my first card, I printed out both sheets of bits and bobs.

The butterfly is printed to fit the Stampin Up large butterfly punch, which makes it so easy to cut out.

I didn't use all of the bits in the end and I added some lace from my stash.

The next card I made, is a very girly card, for a young girl or someone older with a young at heart attitude. It also comes as a boy combination.
I made these 2 sheets into an easel card, which I had to print the square base sheet twice.

The image is decoupaged. I have used my own hearts to embellish. All my cards are printed on Matt photo 220gsm paper.

The next card is my favourite. One for the men in your life.
Again this is 2 sheets of printed images and decoupaged, 4 layers. Buttons frommy stash.

And finally today,  I have a cheeky ladies card. I have made a 7x5 card, using the 6x6 cutting papers. I added a ribbon bookmark on the book page. Again this is 2 printed sheets.

So I still have 6 more cards to make from this magazine. so watch this space. Two of the cards have a different topper set, so in actual fact, you can make different cards.

Well that's all of today's humungous posting. Hope you didn't get too bored!

thanks for popping by

Design Team News

Hi everyone. I have some great news. After a long spell of getting my home in good order and after a bout of family illness, I have re-joined the design team at Kraftyhands.

Mike and Ian asked me if I would come back at some point and after seeing them at Ally Pally last weekend, I said I would be happy to come back.
So we are starting with a new CD Called What a Hoot! This is available to pre-order on the website
at Kraftyhands.
I think it will take a bit of time for me to get into the routine of blogging, commenting on peoples cards in the challenge blog and generally getting up to scratch with my card making. I have been playing with the CD on the Kraftyhands first ever Craft Magazine. Once Ive taken some pictures I will be posting them here.

anyway thats enough chatter. Hope to see you here again soon.

Mini cards and Box

I have made a few little cards this week using, for the Floral cards, Clearly Besotted Mini stamp set and dies. The LOVE is a mini die also from Clearly Besotted.
To gauge the size of the stamp set, these cards are 4x4 from Craftworkcards.
The little funny cards are made using a secondhand stamp set, which wasn't packaged, so I don't have a clue who makes them.
I have used the Stampin Up Pansy Punch, to make the pansies for the box.
My SU envelope punch board was used to make the little envelopes.

I have recently found a little company in USA that make these matting dies with the little stitching slots on them. they are hoping to supply us UK crafters with their range of stamps and dies. So watch this space. Lil Inker Designs.
Not much crafting happening here at the moment. Loads of books to read and a lovely warm sunny garden to sit in. Still, once it rains again, I will be in my craft corner.
Thank you for looking today.
