New Camera

I dropped my camera a couple of weeks ago and broke it. So I went and bought myself a new more expensive one. Im really pleased with it. Its A Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ6. My first pictures are testers of the cats. Neither enjoyed the experience. I just think they are grumpy. Snowy has been in a fight and you can see the scars. Mossy is just grumpy to have been woken up. LOL. Lindax

I love this Image from Mo Manning. The card is an 8 x 8 inches. At the moment Im in to making this size of card.
The paper is from Sweet Shoppe and printed onto cheap Photo paper.

Embellishment Challenge

Over on Cuddlybuddly Forum Kim has started a new Challenge. This months challenge is to make a butterfly Embellishment from your stash. I am first to get mine done. I have also mounted it on a card. The Butterfly has been cut on my Cricut, as is the Card front flowers. These are cut into the card and then you just lift up the petals. This file was a freebie from SVG Cuts. I made this one today as well as the lady and shoes card. Im very pleased with my first card made using a brayered backgound and Stampscape Rubber stamps. The background is brayered on glossy card.

I have been asked to make a Birthday card for a 5 year old. I have used the backing paper from JS Messy Rabbit CD. The image is a Magnolia, stamped for me by the lovely Edna.Sentiment from Cuddlybuddly.

Cricut Card

The Amazing Susi over at Cuddlybuddly has very kindly made a set of SVG files available to purchase at a really good price. Numbers come with Birthday, Wishes,Happy, st,nd,rd and more. Letters come in Uppercase with 3 layers, Letter, matt and base. You need SureCutsALot fom Craft Edge, to open them and cut on your Cricut Machine.
Im a complete Technophobe but was able to work out what to do, quite easily with the very good instructions that come with the download.
This Card is for Megans Birthday on the 28th.
In my haste to get the card made, I forgot to print a pattern on the back of the base card. :)

Embossing Folder Card

I saw this background on a card on Heart Prints. I thought I would give it a go as I dont use my folders enough. It was very easy to do.

Im sorry if you have already seen these cards on CB forum already.
Mum card made from my scraps box.
The letters are WordArt enlarged in Word, printed onto a sheet of paper from my scraps box. Very easy to do.

My Handyman

I found a brilliant Decoupage sheet that was just the job for my Son-in-law Scotts Birthday card. He has been very busy clearing and decorating dads house for me. He has done all the odd jobs as well as the garden.

Another Word Card

I bought myself a CD from FunkyHand and you can make very easy word cards from it.There are also loads of lovely papers. Well worth the money. I now have 2 more word cards on my desk waiting to be put together.
