Steampunk part 2. Tag Book and Card

Todays offerings from Kraftyhands Steampunk Emporium CD  have all been made using the tag sheets, backing papers and paper ribbons. I have gone to town with various gems from my stash.
I have enlarged some of the paper ribbons by selecting and using screen shot, then paste into a Word document. I have a whole sheet of them now, instead of having to print a whoile sheet of various things just for the ribbons.
All papers have been printed on my New Cannon Printer, wish I had bought one of these before now. I am very happy so far.
A dull wet day here today.
See you soon.

Kraftyhands Steampunk Emporium CD

Later this month we have a new CD from Kraftyhands hitting the shop here called steam punk Emporium. What fun this CD is.

Here are my first 2 makes.
A T-shirt for a boy  using t-shirt transfer paper. I took a snap-shot of the topper and enlarged it to make it bigger for the t-shirt.
A card using my Steampunk Cogs and key, from my stash. I got these from QVC when I went there to have a look around and to do a jewellery making workshop. I didnt like the jewellery we made so when I got home, I took it to bits and now have a few more charms in my stash.
The papers from the CD are brilliant. the topper has 3 layers, so looks like an open book.
It doesnt really need anything else added as its all on the papers.

thanks for looking. Another 2 projects in the making.
come back tomorrow for a look at these.

Hero Arts meets Wplus9 Cards

I have been playing with a new style of card which I just love! Backgrounds are hero Arts cling stamps and the fruit and labels are clear stamps and dies from an American company called Wplus9.
I am loving them. I also have some stamps and dies arrived from Papertrey Ink, also from USA. I had to pay customs on both orders but I think it was well worth it to get what I wanted.
So watch this space for more of this style. I am hoping my customers like them too.

thanks for stopping by,

My uncle has his birthday in September and I think he had a car very similar to this one. Hope he likes it. It will make a change from the golf ones I usually make for him, lol.

Hero Arts Flower stamp set

Once a month I have 3 friends come and play.  I design something for them to copy. This week we did backing papers using Hero Arts floral stamp sets. We made 3 sheets each of the backing paper. One sheet was to be cut up for the flowers and leaves to decorate.

We stamped in Versamark, then heat embossed with clear detail powder. then we used Stampin Up inks to roughly colour in the flowers and leaves. That makes for a lovely watercolour look, without too much effort.
We made a box, a sewing kit holder, a notepad holder and 6 little cards for the box. I made an 8x8 card as well.
I made my set for my  daughter Shelley, who has her 33rd Birthday today.
the sentiment on the 8x8 inch card is Papertrey Ink stamp set.

thank you for looking and hope you like them.
