A Birthday Gift

From my lovely friend Debra.
She not only made the card but she made all the embellishments and decorated the little domed drawer box.
Fabulous arnt they. I am one lucky lady.
Not only that, she has got me spending more money as I now want to make my own flower embelishments. So watch this space. ;)

Happy Easter Everyone

This is the one and only Easter card I have made. Using Kraftyhands Spring Time Garden CD.
the image is decoupaged.
I have used ribbon from my stash and the flower was made for me by my dear friend Debra. She made me a few of these for my Birthday, in a beautifully Decorated box. I still have to take a photo of it but it will be here soon for you to look at.

60th Birthday Bash

Yes Im 60 on Sunday! We had my Birthday bash meal with 15 of the family, on thursday evening.
Today I am off to London for my Surprise birthday present. Hubby, son and daughter put together for this treat. My daughter Shelley is taking me to see Mamma Mia and then we are staying overnight at the Charing Cross Hotel. Im sure we will browse the shops while we are there, we have plenty of time.
I though you might like to see the granddies too. So here they are. Love them all to bits.

Knight in Shining Armour.

Our son Mark has his 37th Birthday next Tuesday. He is very much into re-enactment. He has the armour and chain mail. We gave him money for his birthday towards a new shield. Which looks like this one. So I coloured it the same colour.  You can see him in action at Arundel Castle most bank holidays.
A very easy card. I have used grey SU card for the matting. Spectrum Noirs to colour. The backing paper I made using the same stamp but in a lighter colour Momento ink called London Fog.
I dont know who makes the stamp as I bought it secondhand.
Sentiments are, SU and I think Penny Black for the lower one.

Glitter paste and stencil card.

Hello crafters.
Today I am showing you this weeks cards. Well some of them.
Please check out my Stampin Up blog for a couple of other cards.
When I was at the Farnborough Craft fair. I found HELIDOTS.......these are so cute. You buy a kit of peel offsI never thought I would ever buy peel offs again but yes I did. You use certain peel offs and lay them onto paper or card and cut around. then you glue them all together.  I made the mouse but you can make flowers bears bees allsorts.
The Art Nouveau card is using glitter paste which is very quick drying and a stencil from GLITZCRAFT I have used other glitter pastes but they dont dry as fast as these. So glittery too in real life.
Well I had better finish cooking the roast dinner.

Today on create and Craft, Kraftyhands have to shows, at 1pm and 6 pm. they are not allowed to say KEW, as it might get people thinking its to do with KEW GARDENS, which it isnt.lol.
